Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, why we store it, and how to change your mind.
This Cookie Policy explains how Orivoy Limited ("Orivoy", "we", "us" or "our"), through the Diagknos platform ("Diagknos"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our website and platform.
Diagknos uses cookies and similar technologies to operate essential platform functions, remember your preferences, support authentication, facilitate certain third-party services, and, where you give consent, support advertising and marketing measurement.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Notice.
2. The types of technologies we use
We currently use the following categories:
A. Essential technologies
These technologies are necessary for Diagknos to operate core functions that you request, including authentication, maintaining your session, remembering selected tests during the booking process, and recording your cookie preferences.
Essential technologies may include:
- Authentication/session cookies;
- User-session information;
- Booking/cart information stored in browser storage; and
- Cookie-consent preferences.
These technologies are not used for advertising.
B. Functional technologies
Functional technologies support particular features of the Diagknos platform.
For example, Diagknos uses Google Maps and its Places functionality to support collection-address autocomplete. Google Maps may process technical information such as your IP address and referring URL when the relevant functionality is loaded.
Some third-party functionality may also operate when you choose to use a particular feature, such as signing in with Google or completing a payment through Paystack.
C. Advertising and marketing technologies
Diagknos currently uses Meta Pixel for advertising and marketing measurement.
Meta Pixel is only loaded after you provide consent for the Advertising category. If you decline advertising technologies or have not yet made a choice, the Meta Pixel is not loaded.
The Meta Pixel may use identifiers such as _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc to support advertising measurement.
If this changes, we will update this Cookie Policy and our cookie controls as appropriate.
4. Third-party services
Some Diagknos features involve third-party services.
Meta
Meta technologies are used for advertising and marketing measurement. They are only activated after you provide consent for advertising technologies.
Google services are used for features including Google sign-in and address/Places functionality.
Google authentication technologies are activated when you choose to continue with Google. Google Maps/Places functionality is used to support collection-address autocomplete.
Paystack
Payments are processed through Paystack’s hosted checkout environment. When you are redirected to Paystack to make a payment, Paystack may use cookies and similar technologies on its own domain for session management and security/fraud prevention.
Diagknos does not receive or store your full card details.
5. How we obtain your cookie consent
When you first visit Diagknos, we will display a cookie notice explaining the categories of non-essential cookies and similar technologies that may be used.
You may:
- Accept the applicable non-essential technologies;
- Reject non-essential technologies; or
- Manage your preferences by category.
Essential technologies required for the operation and security of Diagknos may operate regardless of your choice.
We do not use your refusal of non-essential cookies as a reason to prevent you from accessing the basic Diagknos website or platform.
Our consent mechanism is designed so that non-essential technologies are not activated before the relevant consent is provided.
6. Changing or withdrawing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time.
A "Cookie Preferences" or similar control will be available on the Diagknos website so that you can reopen the consent settings and change your choices.
When you withdraw consent for a non-essential category, Diagknos will stop loading technologies within that category and, where technically practicable, remove the associated cookies or local-storage data from your device.
Changing your cookie preferences does not necessarily delete information that was lawfully collected before your preference was changed. Requests concerning personal information already held by Orivoy can be made in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
7. Cookies and health information
Diagknos is a diagnostic booking platform and may process information relating to diagnostic tests and healthcare services.
We do not use advertising cookies to intentionally collect or use your diagnostic results or other health information for advertising purposes.
We strongly recommend that you do not enter health information into third-party services unless that information is required for the relevant feature and the third party’s terms and privacy information apply.
8. Browser controls
You can also use your browser settings to block, delete or restrict cookies and other stored information.
Please note that disabling essential technologies may affect the operation of Diagknos, including authentication and booking functionality.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies, local storage, pixels or other similar technologies changes.
Where appropriate, we will also update the cookie preference mechanism to reflect the technologies currently used by Diagknos.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when the Policy was most recently updated.
